Such a great salon. Service and quality are superb! Melinda and her team really care about your hair and getting the best results. Have gotten so many compliments on my extensions and surprise that its not my real hair. Melinda also is great with hair color!!

I moved to San Diego leaving my long time hair dresser and was extremely hesitant on trying somebody new. I tried a salon in Poway that a classmate suggested and I was extremely disappointed and my hair was hideous, then a friend recommend Melinda at Advance Hair Concepts and I couldn't have been any more pleased. She not only corrected the color but has done an amazing job since. I have extremely unruly hair that demands specific hair products and lots of flat ironing. Melinda thought I would be a perfect candidate for a Brazilian Blowout, so I trusted her opinion and booked the appointment. I am so pleased with the outcome. I save so much time getting ready everyday. I can let my hair-dry (I have NEVER been able to air-dry) while doing my make-up then use the flat iron to touch up around my face. I just cant believe it's taken me 27 years to finally find the answer to my hair problems, I will never be able to go without!

Best Hair Treatment!
I absolutely love the Brazilian Blowout. I must admit I had my doubts at first but after getting the treatment done I immediately fell in love! I have been getting compliments on my hair ever since and I can't imagine going back to my old hair days that required so much work!! With the Brazilian Blowout I shower and leave (which is a huge time saver, and shocker since I have never had the pleasure of easy manageable hair). Thanks so much Melinda! Can't wait for my next one... I'm hooked!

The staff at Advanced Hair Concepts are very friendly and knowledgeable! The quality of service they provided me along with the quality of the hair extensions are unmatched! Many years of straightening and coloring caused my hair to become thin and damaged and I had been considering hair extensions for a long time. The staff at Advanced Hair Concepts answered every question and concern that I had prior to my actual appointment. Because of their desire to answer every concern that I had, I felt assured and confident in my decision choosing Advanced Hair Concepts for my extensions. I am absolutely pleased with my extensions and could not be happier with my decision in choosing them! They are highly recommended!

I'm really impressed with this salon. Melinda and her staff do amazing things with hair extensions, but if you're just looking for a first class cut and color, this is also the place to go! I'm always pleased with how my hair looks when I leave the salon. They have a great location in La Mesa and I love the upscale ambiance.

I am a 53 year old female that has been experiencing thinning hair for the past 10 years due to a genetic history of female pattern baldness. This has been difficult to deal with emotionally. I am sure there are others my age that are experiencing this and I hope this review will help you.

Melissa and her staff are very kind, sensitive and extremely knowledgeable concerning the placement and also the type of extensions that are best suitable for your specific needs.
My husband was thrilled with my new look! The color of the extensions are amazing and match exactly with my own hair. I am extremely pleased and decided to go back in and have a few more added on!!

Advanced Hair Concepts is exceptional! Melinda took particular care to perfectly match my own hair (and even matched my highlights!) to maintain a natural look, while increasing the fullness. And now, I finally have the hair that I've always dreamed of! Melinda and Julie are professional, accommodating, and really took the time to educate me on how to properly maintain my hair and increase the longevity of the extensions. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful experience!

I choose Advanced Hair Concepts because they use real people on their web site as examples. This meant I could see what they could do with real hair situations. The Advanced Locks Hair Extensions are wonderful and Melinda is an expert at matching your own hair. The prices are reasonable and the product excellent. I have been going to Advanced Hair Concepts for almost a year and I would not go anywhere else.

After chemical damage ruined my hair, I decided to get extensions at Advanced Hair Concepts. I love them! The color and texture match so well that people don't believe it when I tell them that I have extensions. The prices for the services and the products are very reasonable. Other salons I looked at charge more for lower quality extensions.

Advance Hair is the BEST!! Melinda and the girls are very sweet and professional!!! They make you feel very comfortable!! I have had other extension like greatlength but nothing compairs to hair locs!! LOVE Them!!

We all know how much a good hair day can do for your self confidence, well after having to deal with thinning hair in my 30's as a side effect to medication I had been on in my 20's, I was in a desperate search for some solution. After much research, and money spent on shampoo and treatment that just didn't work, Hair extensions were an answer to my prayers.
I did a very thorough search online for the best hair extensions in San Diego, and the best is what I found. Along came Melinda at Advanced Hair Concepts.
That search was over 2 years ago. I have changed the type of extensions several times due to my hair becoming stronger and I have never been sorry to follow Melinda's advice. Melinda has a wonderful variety of solutions, products and services.
Her staff, Lisa and Julie are wonderful too. I look forward to my maintenance appts and the coloring and cuts that Lisa and Julie do are fantastic. Although I could go elsewhere to have my hair colored and cut, I know noone treats my hair better! You won't be disappointed.

My extensions look amazing!!! I had a short bob and Melinda transformed it into beautiful long hair. She couldn't have made me happier! When I arrived at the salon, the staff couldn't have made me feel more comfortable and welcome. Each stylist has their own individual room where you receive your services. This made the best and most personal experience! I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. No one can believe that I have extensions when I tell them. I highly recommend this salon, there is nothing like it!

This is THE SMART SALON: Salon owner Melinda Beck has extraordinary expertise in treating hair loss and thinning hair--and she customizes her work for each individual. I learned that the expensive extensions I'd been given elsewhere were wrong for my hair condition and had contributed to hair loss. Melinda knew what would work for me--and it has worked. Further, her supportive staff is pure sunshine.
