This was my first experience with a professional photographer. And this experience was amazing and the pictures from our first shoot looked so good I had a really hard time picking which ones to keep. Thank you ladies for the great experience and I can't wait for our next session.

I just wanted to thank both of you for an amazing experience. When you showed me some of my photos during the shoot yesterday, I could hardly believe that was me. Having a sister who takes great photos and knows just how to pose always made me feel like the ugly duckling. You are true artists and are giving a gift to those you serve. CONFIDENCE! We always see our flaws and rarely get to see how others view us. Your photos will give me inspiration to let my true self shine through. You showed me that I can be just as beautiful as any of those girls in the magazines, with a little help from my friends at Blueflair!

Where do I begin??? My family and I moved to San Diego in July of 08 from Denver. While in Denver we had a wonderful photographer who documented my son's whole first year. I was so sad to leave Denver because I did not know what we were going to do as far as a photographer went for my daughter who was due to be born in October. I came across a postcard at a childrens play place for Blueflair Photography. I thought the pics on the card looked good so I thought "I might as well call." When I did call I spoke with Nicki, immediately I was drawn to her spunky personality. I told her what I was looking for and she was so willing to cater to my every desire.
My daughter Madison was born in October and we had her pictures taken 2 weeks later. I was a bit nervous about how they were going to turn out. Needless to say they were AMAZING! I would have to say even better then the photographer in Denver. Nicki and Steph are amazing at capturing every special moment.
I have now used them for my daughters newborn, 3 month, 7 month, and soon her 1 year photos. We have also used them for my sons 3 year old photos.
After every session I am more and more pleased with the quality of photos that are taken. I have referred them to friends, and will continue for years. Not only have I now found the BEST photographers but I have found life long friends.
The best move you could do is to use Blueflair photography for any of your photography needs! Thanks Nicki and Steph, your THE BEST!!!

I have had several photographers take my pictures, the photographs have always been unsatisfactory. Blueflair was recommended and with some reservation I tried another studio. I was more than pleased. They gave me so many good choices that it was hard to pin point the favorite ones. Each one was different due to lighting, back grounds and poses. I have recommended them to several of my friends and they have all been happy with their work.

We have used blueflair photography starting with our engagement session to our wedding, a trash the dress session and now a maternity session. Every encounter with Nikki and Stefanie is both personal and true to who we are as people. Being someone who does not like their picture taken, I have never felt more comfortable in front of a camera and actually liked the pictures that were taken of us. They really took the time to listen to us and get to know us as people rather than just taking pictures. All of our albums truly fit us as a couple not to mention the quality of them both inside and out. Anyone who has seen our albums from friends and family, to co-workers and others passing by always comment on how unique and different yet beautiful they are. We can't say enough about these ladies, not only as people but as professionals. They are like family and are helping us build a record of our lives together in print. We can't wait for our newborn and milestone sessions of our baby that is soon to come. We thank them for all they have done for us. Best of Luck!

These girls are truely the best! They aren't just your photographers, they are your next best friends! I've done a total of 5 sessions with them (4 of my baby, 1 of me) and loved everyone one of them! They are very adaptable, and allow your opinion on the shoot. Being super creative and talented women though, you'll defiently want to listen to thier imput as well. We are a military family and they were very flexible in scheduling, payment, everything! I'm so glad I found thier website during my pregnancy, I would recommend them to everyone!

I cant rate high enough for these 2 women, they did my cousins wedding and I feel in love with them so I brought my son in to take pictures, they knew how to do every shot and caught every smirk he had, they were so patient with him.They had him to climb onto things that I would of never thought to do. I loved every single picture they took, these to girls are the best photographers that I have been around, and they LOVE doing what they do!!!!

10. These women rock: Undaunted by fierce waves, unsteady, slippery rocks, nor small children running through a photo shoot, Stefanie and Nikkie keep on clickin', undisturbed, unperturbed, and generally happy go lucky!
9. They tell it like it is. This was my first experience with a professional photo shoot...unless you count the Sears portrait studio type deal as a kid. :-) Nikkie and Stefanie listened to my thoughts and told me theirs and we joined forces to come up with a creative set of shots, utilizing motion, light and natural settings to the best of their abilities. They are the experts and I appreciated their honesty, especially at those moments when it was clear I was a complete novice!
8. They have integrity. Stefanie and Nikkie kept our appointment, even showing up early. They called and emailed when they said they would, answered the phone every time (themselves) and took a chance, showing up at our photo shoot without ever having met me in person.
7. They are passionate about what they do. They love the camera and their work reflects this. Both Nikkie and Stefanie have an artistic vision which transcends time and space and creates indelible images, evident in their portraiture.
6. They think outside of the box. Instead of standard studio shots, Stefanie suggested we go to the Oceanside Pier. And not just the pier, she suggested I climb way up onto the rocks, balance between 2 poles, and let me do fun things like backbends in the sand and run along the ocean's edge with my surfboard. Then, when it got too dark for any more photo opps, Stefanie and Nikkie suggested we continue the shoot the following week at a nearby ranch, with peacocks. How's that for creativity?!
5. They are do-gooders and pay it forward. During the entire shoot, we were contending with fellow surfers, kiddos and a handful of other photographers who apparently had the same idea to come out to the pier at sunset. Not ONCE did Stefanie or Nikkie get frustrated or upset that we had to wait. Not only that, I personally saw them giving tips and hints to family members on how to get great photographs of their kids. The parents were appreciative and Stefanie and Nikkie seemed more than happy to help out in any way they could. While others might have taken this opportunity to gripe about the wait time or to judge a novice photographer, these women seized the opportunity to share their knowledge in a kind and caring way.
4. They are entrepreneurs. They started their own company and are learning as they go and were kind enough to support my own entrepreneurial spirit.
3. They have fun. Stefanie and Nikkie each bring unique talent to their business and they joked with each other throughout the shoot. None of us had ever met before and we had a great time!
2. They go with the flow. What I like about Stefanie and Nikkie is that they do not have one set type of branded photography to which all clients must conform. Instead, they take into account what the photos are being utilized for and are open to trying different approaches to creating the desired outcome.
1. They give a one-of-a-kind photo experience. What attracted me to Blue Flair Photography was the sensitivity that came through in the portraiture, a kind of candid warmth and softness. In addition, they are color experts and utilize captivating backgrounds and natural scenery to enhance their images and create a look like no other.
