When the Broken Yolk Café first opened its doors in 1979, it became a local favorite. Now, 27 years later, it still is. With our addition of an outdoor rooftop dining area and our private banquet room, the Broken Yolk Café is San Diego's largest breakfast house.

The Broken Yolk Café offers a large selection of home cooked meals in a comfortable and casual atmosphere. There are over 20 different omelets to choose from as well as a wide variety of other breakfast favorites which include pancakes, waffles and French toast. Feel more like lunch? Try one of our juicy ½ pound burgers or one of our large sandwiches. Our generous portions will leave you full and satisfied.

They have THE BEST omelettes ever! They are packed full of fillings. The Broken Yolk Cafe definitely does not skimp on their fillers. They have amazing mimosas!
