Patrons of the Arts, better known as Carlsbad Community Theatre is celebrating 25 years of community theatre. We have been entertaining the community with annual summer productions and over 100 youth productions utilizing the talent found right here in our city. Carlsbad Community Theatre has fulfilled the true mission of community theatre - bringing theatre to people right where they live and helping them to be a part of it, from usher or wardrobe mistress to star of the show or anonymous benefactor.
Our youth programs in particular have shown tremendous growth in size, excellence and reputation over the years.
As a 501c3 non-profit organization we have been basically self-sufficient the entire time. We have had a few small grants from the City of Carlsbad Arts Office and they help to make our continued success possible.
Our main goal is to provide a positive theatre experience to the City of Carlsbad, both young and old alike.
