Whether you are looking to purchase a wine to take home or taste some new wines with friends, Carlsbad Wine Merchants offers an exceptional selection of wine and imported beer.
Every Friday night a different tasting event featuring a new flight of wines for your tasting pleasure. Can't decide? The Tasting Room's expert staff will suggest a couple of favorites from the menu or shop to go with their mouth-watering assortment of cheeses and charcuterie.

The staff is knowledgeable. The wine selection is excellent. The customers are all very friendly. If you don't know someone when you walk in, you'll know allot of people by the time you leave. Warm and entertaining. The "Cheers" of wine stores. Kathy, the owner, cares about all of her customers -- thank you Kathy!

Absolutely the best wine shop I have ever known. Carry all my favorites and the knowledgeable staff has recommended some new favorites to me based on their observations of what I like. Additionally, they do a wonderful job of creating beautiful and elegant gift baskets I buy to give to clients and friends. They have also found me hard to get cases of great wines, and ordered cases of wines I have found and can't find in any shop. They are amazing. I am a lifetime customer.

This place is not just a great wine shop. It's a way cool hang. Sit on couches, listen to awesome music (the duo with the wild guitar player is wonderful), tons of joking around by everyone, we went to buy a bottle of wine and stayed 6 hours...

Carlsbad Wine Merchants have the best selection, staff, and prices. It is a beautiful store and you feel very comfortable there. They are well educated, fun, and informative. NEVER snooty :) THE place to get wine! And a great wine club, too!
