Celebrations EVENT Planning took care of my daughter´s wedding in Sept 2008 in San Diego. They took care of EVERYTHING to the last details, always provided many vendor choices, never pushed for us to choose any one in particular, were at the helm full time and even took care of bouncing uninvited guests. They were definitely responsible for a flawless and memorable event.

Geneene was a wonderful person, helped keep costs down got great prices for the reception. Gave her all at any time we needed her. I am a person who stresses about everything, not with Geneene, she took charge and my daughters wedding was wonderful and I enjoyed myself, because Geneene took care of eveything. 10 plus star rating.

We used Geneene to do our daughters wedding and what an amazing planner she is! Everything went off as expected and everyone that attended had a great time. Every little detail was covered. She is also a wonderful person. She knows how to handle moms and daughters before, during and after the wedding. Our experience with Celebrations Event Planning was the best that any parents could have wanted. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner! You will not be disappointed.

We recently had the extreme pleasure of working with Geneene. She and her staff did an amazing job of keeping things running smoothly. They were very involved without being overbearing. And they took extraordinary care of everyone and every little detail at the wedding. Our couple was able to enjoy their special day to the fullest. Truly a delight to see in action! We're wedding photographers and really see the benefits of stellar coordination. Kudos!

On the day of my very formal wedding, all 8 of my bridesmaids called me to say that the dresses they received by mail from a seamstress I had hired did not fit and had various flaws (uneven hems, shoulders offset, necklines pinched at the seam) in the sewing. The Washington state seamstress had sent them only recently to the bridesmaids, but not the two weeks ahead of the San Diego wedding that she has promised. It was Thanksgiving weekend and I was in a complete panic. No stores were open to arrange a quick buy of new dresses. Geneene Thornton took all the dresses to a seamstress in Mission Valley whom she knew and explained the situation. The seamstress stayed open all night, called in additional seamstresses to help in order to repair and fit all the dresses. The wedding was to start at 2 PM the following day and all 9 dresses arrived at 2:30 PM the day of the wedding. The dresses were wearable and everyone looked great for the pictures. Without Geneene's help, my wedding would have been a complete disaster. Geneene assured me that I was the bride and she would handle everything and to let her worry about the details. What a blessing she was and today we are still good friends. I can never thank her enough! She is the best! Paulette Becker

Geneene is an excellent event planner. She creates the most beautiful events. She did my wedding and we had to move our location in less than 11 days do to unfortunate circumstances and she was right there the whole time moving the venue and finding new vendors. She helped our wedding day to be important and special. She's wonderful!!!!

She has been in this business a long time and has the knowledge to do it right and make her clients happy. Her mission is to please her customers and make sure they are happy with their special day. Geneene is the only person I would recommend to anyone wanting a wedding planner. I'm saying this with first hand knowledge as she did my wedding and I couldn't have been happier.

My daughter and I just signed up for her services. When we first met Geneene, she was just so friendly, open, honest, and full of ideas. We are looking forward to working with her. And after reading all of the glowing tributes, I think we made the right decision!
