Absolutely a treat!!! We are addicted to the best malts in town. This is where my husband and I go to kick back, feast on chili fries&buffalo burgers and, of course, the most yummy malts ever! They always make us feel special and the customer service is top notch - I swear they remember everyone and treat us like family. We love you guys!!!
This place is awesome!! They have kept alive the special art of good customer service. One of the only places I can order a real malt shake with extra malt.
Simply the best service and greatest staff, and the food can't be beat. I would go there at least once a week to eat well and feel well cared for by "the guys."

The Classic Malt Shop has a friendly and welcoming staff and the food is simply amazing. Their location has been very convenient for me personally, since I work in the same general area. They have taken very good care of me since I've started work there 2 years ago.
Jeff, Ferris and gang are GREAT! They are warm and friendly and give wonderful customer service. They definitely have the best burgers. My favorite is the ostrich burger! I love the lemon pepper seasoning they use on the burgers, salad fries, anything you want it on. It is a very comfortable family-like atmosphere. Give it a try!
If you want to experience the 1950s and "American Graffitti" in the 21st Century, then head on down to the Classic Malt Shop. They have cars, cruisin', friendly customer, the best service in town and good eats. The best thing this side of a dual-exhaust 283 with a Rochester 4G is an Ostrich Burger with fries and a Cherry Coke. If they are out of Ostrich, you can pick from Buffalo, Turkey, Beef, or if you have to, a Veggie Burger. Jeff, Ferris, Marv, Doug and the rest of the Malt Shop Team will make you feel right at home. Friday night is cruise night and you'll see some of the wickedest rods in San Diego as well as some stock classics as well. This one dude has a '57 BelAir station wagon that is to die for. So cruise on down to the Classic Malt Shop - In and Out, Hodad's and all the other imitators have nothing on them.
Jeff, Ferris and the "Gang" down at the Classic Malt Shop are practically family. The only thing better than the food is their personalized service. We've been eating there for years. And the food is healthy, too! Try the Ostrich Burgers, you can't tell the taste from beef and it has 1/9 the calories. The magic Ferris Fries are fresh cut. Everything there is the real deal -- right down to the smiles. If you haven't tried the Malt Shop, then you just haven't lived!
