At Costa Brava you will find the authentic taste and flare of Spain. Nobody beats them! I grew up in Spain but I have been in the US for 14+ years. I lived in 4 different states, and Ialways looked for a place that transported me home. This is it. When you walk into Costa Brava you feel like you are stepping in Spain, down to the smallest detail. Well, maybe a little more noise, few more napkins, olive pits and cigarette buds on the floor would make it even more... not sure that part would be appreciated. It may a little more expensive that people expect but it is well worth it when you are getting the most authentic tapas and the Spanish atmosphere of any place I have tried in the US. You will feel like you are in Spain, and it is cheaper then the airfare there. Last but no least, the staff is GREAT. They are fun, professional, you can tell they love the culture, the food, people, and want to share it with you. Everytime I go there I feel like I am going back to my neighborhood restaurant and feel the warmth of the culture I love. You will not be dissapointed. I take everybody I know there... and they in turn love it too. Probably a few of them wrote comments in here! Enjoy! Viva Espanya! Y Ole!

This place is so cute and I love that it is near my house in PB. It is a GREAT date restaurant, and they also have awesome happy hour deals. The patios out front and in back are adorable. I would say that the tapas are a bit better at Cafe Sevilla, but it is nice having this place close to home. I have to say though, the service is really hit or miss. And, the manager/owner guy with the long hair and facial hair was EXTREMELY rude to me one time. I was SHOCKED to find out that he was the manager/owner. I have been a patron there for many years and can't believe he would treat me the way he did. He is an absolute JERK!

Walking into Resturante Costa Brava is like stepping into Spain. It is the most authentic spanish experience I have had in the U.S. I've lived abroad in Spain and let me tell you, from the owner, to the employees, to the food, good wine and delicious tapas, you won't find a better Spanish experience in San Diego.

Growing up in San Francisco, the importance of sharing food & wine with family and friends is paramount. Javier and the staff offer one of the best dining experiences reflecting that belief in San Diego. A true find that would be a star in foodie cities Chicago, SF, & NYC just as much as it is here. Fantastic traditional foods excentuate the freshest ingredients and they offer one of the most thoughtful wine lists in SD County. Always a perfect pairing. Keep it up.

This is the best place to go and eat y San Diego!
The food is incredible, a blast of flavors and spanish gourmet cuisine. You will really enjoy every one of this dishes. Paella, no one come close to match the taste, you have to try for yourself, and the service is five stars!

The owner come over and chat with you, giving you that personal touch, it makes you feel like you're in Spain!

When I was in this restaurant I was like in Spain eating, the food its very good quality the serrano ham and cheese are fantastic, but the most inmportant is the hospitality about the people working there. From this word I would like to have the most sincerliest congratulations. I am pround of your achievements
