Dearinger in La Jolla is the best -- easygoing atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Every time I leave with a haircut or color, I get tons of compliments on my hair. I have been sending friends there, and my husband now sees my stylist, Laura, as well.
The place needs a major overhaul in both cleanliness and updating. If you are going to have white walls, they need to be clean and actually white. Have had 2 haircuts - one was horrendous and embarrasing, the second to fix the first one and it came out amazing (different stylist). I'm happy with the fix and will go back. Maybe I'll donate some paint and cleaning tools.
By far the best haircuts I have ever gotten. Aaron is the best. He always listens to what you want, provides suggestions, and will tell you what your hair type is/ is not capable of doing.
I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was friendly and expressed great concern for the health of my hair. I very quickly felt comfortable and trusted them with my hair. I definitely will go back!
