When someone makes from scratch her marshmallows for her Mississippi Mud Pie, you know Elizabeth is serious about desserts. I always buy four times more desserts then I need, because I can't decide.

The gooey lemon cake/bar is out of this world! I think it has white chocolate (?) on top, and beautiful fresh berries.
Walking in to Elizabethan Desserts is a treat itself: behind the counter you can see in full view where Elizabeth has long tables with bowls and bowls of batters and frostings and fruit and whatever magical ingredients she uses.
Great location, too.
