Icon comes to mind when I think of the Hob Nob restaurant. It is REAL and Authentic Americana and part of San Diego history!!!..Sure a bunch of new fangled eateries have sprung up over the years, but any true San Diegan remembers this place, many with fond memories of eating there with our now gone grandparents. New is great but seasoned is enduring and that is Hob Nob a S.D true institution. The food, the atmosphere can’t be replicated any where. Z

Hob Nob Hill has great location, lovely classic furnishing and the best traditional breakfast I had in San Diego. Service is very warm and personal and the beautiful close by park is ideal for a morning walk.

Friendly staff and servers make dining apleasant experience! Food service is usually quick and food is wholesome! All baked goods are made on the premises and are delicious. Muffins, biscuits, coffecake are superb!!! Enjoyment at breakfast

Hob Nob Hill - its all about San Diego. This is the place for locals and for locals to take their out of town guests! Great food, great atmosphere. Best waffle in town!
