This place used to be the best. But every time I've been there recently I was greatly disappointed. The quesadillas are great, but their Carne Asada flat out sucks! Not the worst place, but not what it used to be. I'd rather go down the street to Nico's or Santana's.

The staff is always wonderful. Way faster service and more delicous than Santanas anyday. The servings are huge and the menu has all the standard Mexican food as well as their own creative creations.

There food is absolutely amazing! I drive all the way from Chula Vista to eat here because none of the taco shops in my area compare to this place. Everyone keeps saying Oh Lolitas is so good, there is no comparison JV's is a million times better. Plus if you have not had one of their burritos get ready to eat the biggest one you have ever seen!

This is all time spot to go to. I've been going there for over 12 years and have nothing but great reviews. The portions are large, depending on what you get

I like the fact that you can take as much salsa as you want from their salsa bar. Other places give you the tiny little containers that is only good for the first two bites.

Best Mexican food in San Diego. I've been eating here since I was in the 8th grade and I've never been let down by the quality of food or service. Jesse and his team are awesome.
