Voting Home / Marechiaro's
Nominated for: BEST Pizza
In 1955 Pasquale's father, Papa Villani, moved his family from Naples, Italy to El Cajon to open the amazing Italian Restaurant Marechiaro's. Marechiaro's was named after a small village outside of Naples, Italy over forty years ago.
Since taking over his father's restaurant a number of years ago, "Pat" Vallani attributes the success of his restaurant to his family and staff's many years of hard work and dedication. Pat recently remodeled and updated the restaurant, but was successful in saving its charming character. The shingled roof trim effect on the interior remained, as did the beautiful wall murals that accented the restaurant's many booths.
Pat, who works in both the kitchen and dining room, says he prefers to be "out on the floor, meeting with the customers." Pat is very proud of his menu's transformation from just a pizza and pasta restaurant into a more extensive mix of standard and classic Italian cuisine, including seafood and veal dishes.
Come and visit our friendly neighborhood restaurant today to experience Italian cuisine at its finest.
