Since our fist session in the summer of 1990 we have maintained the highest standards of instructional integrity, safety and supervision. Ocean Experience develops skills and confidence while empowering students to surf for life. Our surf lessons use our proven training methods and step by step skill progression. Ocean Experience offers the most comprehensive surf instruction available. Clinics are taught by experienced professional staff that will carefully and thoroughly guide you to success on the waves.

Established in 1999 by owner, Rodger Caldwell, OCEAN BEACH SURF AND SKATE opened its doors to provide sister company, Ocean Experience Surf School, with a retail and home base. Recently voted “Best Skate Shop in San Diego” by City Beat’s Best Of, Ocean Beach Surf and Skate promotes the Southern California lifestyle while supplying core needs to surfers and Skateboarders alike. Ocean Experience Surf School and Ocean Beach Surf and Skate take pride in providing positive and meaningful experiences to all clients, patrons and associates and conduct all business with the highest standards of service, integrity and quality.
