Too busy, too commercial. I have had to repeat my order over and over, the kids that work there are probably just getting through school so they hardly care. It's not worth the wait in line.
And the sauce is too heavy, too sweet, you will burp it for days!
Always consistent, best attitudes, food superb, corn on cob, sweetest, baked cheese potato done to perfection, zippy baked beans, ask for extra sauce? no problem! chicken falls off the bone all white meat? no problem. order out 15, maybe 20 minutes on a busy night (labor day weekend Sunday). The best hands down!
After living in Texas for a few years and eating a lot of bbq, Phils is so delicious! The tangy sauce, huge onion rings, ribs, all of it is making my mouth water and its 8am. Guess where we will be going for lunch, thanks guys!
I have had BBQ all over the united states and nothing compares to phils. This is the best bbq place around. Always a pleasure and a great family atmosphere.
