To truly experience the quality you must order a whole pizza. Sometimes their slice can be questionable because they're simply display reheats. So grab a couple of friends, order a whole pizza, drink a craft beer or two, and wait on your pizza. It's definitely worth the wait!

As close to New York pizza as anything I've eaten in SD.

I'm a girl from New York and was raised on great pizza. Luigi has the best crust with a perfect sauce to cheese ratio. The topping are fresh and quailty.

Hand made pizza tossed with style. Not machine made and with lots of variations. Passed the taste test with the lovers of Italian food. The staff is friendly, and the customers are very polite. A great combination. You can bring your Italian mother-in-law here, and she will love being treated like a queen.

Pepperoni, jalapeno, pineapple, ricotta pizza. Come on? And you get to watch them make it. No walls exist between the kitchen and the other side of the counter where you can watch them flipping the dough around like crazy, because this place is usually poppin. Excellent beer selection too, but I do think I am voting for best pizza, so not sure if that counts here. Love that thin crust, crispy dough, great sauce, cheese and the coolest owner ever. He is always working hard. He's there every time I go. Oh, and I should mention the $5 for two slices and a drink is pretty awesome.
