Ponce's serves “No Nonsense” Mexican Food. Our food fare, considered Authentic Mexican Food wit a bit of Tex-Mex flavor, is served with “No-Frills.” From our traditional enchiladas, tacos, and burritos to our family specialties, you'd better be hungry when you dine with us!
Ponce's opened its doors in September of 1969 by Ponce Sr. In the beginning, the business was known only to the locals of Kensington, but over the years Ponce's has become a staple eatery in the San Diego area.
With Ponce Sr. retiring in 2002, he passed the torch to 2 of his kids: Ponce Jr. & Rocio. The tradition is carried with the same flavors that has kept Ponce's going for over 30 years but now with a new ambience and energy.
