PT for DOGS

Category: Training (30 listings)

We use clicker training, which is a scientific method used by marine trainers and zoo's all around the world. We do not use positive punishment (no choke chains, pinch collars, shock collars, or anything that is abusive). Instead we use positive reinforcement and help owners build a strong relationship with their dog. We offer group and private lessons from Certified Professional Dog Trainers. We also offer clicker cat training. "A clicker trained dog is a HAPPY DOG!"

Pam is the most caring trainer that I have ever met. She helped our dog overcome many fears. Not to mention her clicker training techniques are wonderful, fun, and easy to learn.

PT for DOGS has captured a 12 year old's attention, and in my book that is fantastic. PT volunteered at a local program, which my daughter was very interested in joining, and after the first session with PT for DOGS's trainer my daughter received priceless knowledge. Our family started with 2 dogs and with the PT for DOGS training we have increased our dog family to 4 dogs. Unbelieveable or not they are all trained and listen well, even the 12 year old and we feel it is becausse of PT for DOGS's personal touch.

Clicker training is the only way to train an animal. Just go to Sea World and you can see clicker (marker) training everywhere. You would never see a killer whale with a choke chain on. :) Pam's an outstanding trainer.

PT for Dogs is affordable, a CPDT, and will only use positive methods. To us it was important to only use positive methods to train our dogs.

Science based and does not use punishment. We learned how to use a front clipping harness and how to motivate our dogs to want to work. In return we have calm, happy, loving members of our family.
