Ricardo Vela Studio Gallery was created with the idea primarily to exhibit the fine art photography of Ricardo Vela. This concent grew into displaying art work of emerging Latino artists from San Diego, Tijuana region, and Latin America.
Ricardo Vela felt that San Diego needed a location to showcase all forms of the art of the Latino community. Ricardo Vela Studio Gallery is a space where Art, Photography, and the Community merge into one.
The gallery has the feeling of old European charm while exhibiting cutting edge and beautiful photographic art works by Ricardo and by other very talented local artists.
Ricardo is very passionate in showing art of latinoamerican countries not just Mexico and through that he gives opportunities to other artists.
The gallery is small but very cozy and he is always willing to explain the style and inspiration that the artists have on their pieces. At this moment he is showing pieces from Ecuadorian artists.
