The San Diego Watercolor Society is not only a gallery, but also a place where artists of any level can come and learn. Everyone is friendly and giving. The facility has the most interesting diverse art in San Diego.
Not only does the San Diego Watercolor Society support local artists, but they also bring in international artists' shows representing talent and pride within a brilliantly new and terrific downtown setting.
Not only does the SDWS show the work of local artists in a beautiful and open setting, they have international shows as well.
I, for one, enjoy seeing the local art when visiting other towns.
This is a large group of painters and supporters that truly promotes interest in art in San Diego by sponsoring juried monthly shows, and offering wonderful artist workshops to educate its membership.
