They cater to the needs of the customer and remember their regulars...even when they come around once a year for vacations!

I enjoy the tea experience and Shakespeare's provides a wonderful outside patio where I can sit and leisurely drink tea with friends. Their scones are great and served with real clotted cream, unlike many other tea rooms, and they are always friendly and welcoming.

Every time I go there, with or without a reservation, I have been welcomed and made to feel at home, as well as enjoying a touch of home.

My 3 daughters pick the tearoom each year for their birthday treat, because they love the way we can eat at our own speed, and enjoy the fine food, served on beautiful china.

A little piece of England in San Diego - giving a real traditional afternoon tea with very tasty and attractive food. An attentive, friendly staff with real value for money too!
