They are awesome! Outstanding shows, performers/cast, artistic director and management! I personally enjoyed all the performances 2009 and looking forward to 2010 season. My friends and I have gone there to watch the wonderful shows. I highly recommend this theater.
Great for a beautiful San Diego night, and it's a trip to see all the actors freeze into place when the planes fly overhead and then pick up right where they left off!!
I have loved going to Starlight in Balboa Park over the past number of years. Watching the actors freeze as a plane goes overhead is definitely one-of-a-kind!! The talent is phenomenal and getting to see a Broadway quality show for such an affordable price is all the better. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. I've already got my tickets for this year's season.
With the ambiance to top most theatres, this summer proves to be worth every dollar! Escpecially under the new Artistic Direction of the well known Carlos Mendoza! I am positive the peformances will not be ones to miss. It is such a great evening for all ages and for familys!
I have seen several productions at the Starlight and I am always impressed with the caliber of performers and the high quality of the productions. I definitely recommend seeing a show here or buying season tickets and support our local theater.
Have visited SD a few times, and made it a point to attend a performance at Starlight during each visit. Refreshing, open-air theatre with outstanding performances were a real treat.
Starlight is an amazing hidden treasure in San Diego! Its a fun family atmosphere with great shows, talented casts, and pleasant staff! If you've never experienced a show at the Starlight Bowl, grab your family and some blankets and enjoy the night!!
Starlight's musical productions offer the most diverse shows for their audience. In addition, they hire professional orchestra members, actors, backstage crew and choreographers. RAGTIME was the best show done this summer season!
