What really sets the field apart for me is the staff. Also, I have never been disappointed with the quality of their food, beer selection or Irish whiskeys. For a local, The Field is the ONLY place worth going in the Gaslamp Quarter!

Lived in Europe for a summer a few years back and this is the closest thing I have been able to find in the U.S. that compares to a good 'ole Irish pub. I love it. :)
