Love the teachers. Feel like each has their own style and personality that they bring to their teaching methods. I have not taken a class there that I didn't love.

There are so many reasons why I would recommend this studio, but in keeping it simple I can definitely say...for one: the atmosphere, there are no mirrors, gold walls and a Buddha statue that always make me feel more connected to the true roots of yoga and the experience especially in comparison to gym yoga classes. Also, the teachers have all been great and really encompass their own styles. I have also met the owner, Maria, who is usually around the studio and has a heart of gold; in that she is always willing to help. This studio is also a great way to connect to the community of yogis if you want to. Overall, I have visited and studied at many studios around the country and this one I love.

The teachers are amazing and the studio itself is beautiful. The owner is very positive, and she has created a very welcoming studio where yogis of all levels can be comfortable practicing.

THis studio is lovely - the teachers are all wonderful - the location is terrific and the owner is a charming woman who believes in her clients and in the power of yoga - what more could you want?

This studio is fantastic. Maria has created a warm and welcoming environment where her love of yoga is infectious! The teachers at LYS are encouraging and so so knowledgeable. They will (safely) push you to the next level if you are ready or support and challenge you where you are! Go to the Little Yoga Studio!!!

I love the place, it is in fact little but the energy inside makes you vibrate at your highest when doing yoga. Teacher are exellent and the beautiful environment makes you feel peaceful.

The Little Yoga Studio is the best think that Cortez area got lately. Its incredible design, harmony and right energy, it is really worth being part of this community. It is a very clean, friendly, teachers (Teresa Austin, Sara Deakin, and Laura Sparaco) are incredible skillful, friendly, helpful and a joy to be around them. Maria, on the other hand, who is the founder of this studio, is not only friendly with everyone but very accommodating and there to help students/teachers with any way possible.
I love going to this place, and if you haven’t started already, time to give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

the owner is a spectacular businesswoman, a devoted yogi and a marvelous person sll wrapped up in one. I've never finished a Little Yoga class without feeling completely at peace with my body and my soul. What more can you want?

Maria, the owner, is the nicest woman you will ever meet. not only does she make you feel at home but she also staffs her studio with the best instructors in San Diego. You must go check this place out!!!

I live in NYC but my sister lives right near the little yoga studio in San Diego and I am out there all the time. Whenever I visit San Diego I make sure to take at least 1 but try for 2 (only a weekend) classes because the little yoga studio is the greatest yoga studio i have ever been to anywhere! it has all the calming features a good yoga studio requires - simple but unique, beautiful in a serene kind of way, and of course calming and relaxing. I have taken some of the best yoga classes I've ever experienced in both NYC and SD at the little yoga studio. And Maria the owner is an absolute gem, she is so wonderful and she sets the tone for this amazing yoga studio. Also - the candles, clothing and jewelry is incredible. I just recently bought a necklace there and everyone in NYC now wants the same one:) I love the little yoga studio!!!
