We've been THE choice for the ultimate breakfast in San Diego ever since we opened the first Original Pancake House® franchise in San Diego with our Kearny Mesa restaurant in 1979. Currently we have 4 locations in San Diego County, Kearny Mesa, Poway, Encinitas and Vista, and one in Temecula. .
Our world famous original recipes are just that - they're from all over the world, and demand only the very finest of ingredients, such as USDAA grade butter (not margarine), pure 36% whipping cream (not half & half), fresh grade AA eggs, hard wheat unbleached flour, and our own homemade sourdough starter recipe. Our batters and sauces are made fresh in each restaurant's kitchen and we never compromise with quality! And wait till you've tasted our coffee - it's our own special combination, blended to our specifications – and try our thick sliced bacon, you can't get it anywhere else.

My favorite breakfast place, they have the best pancakes. The Poway location is the location I'll go to. The Vista location SUCKS!!! I've tried going back to the Vista location many times hoping they were just having a bad day, the last and final time was so bad that I asked to speak with the manager and I got a busboy! WTF!!!

I have eaten there since I was a kid. The Poway location is by far the best one. The Encinitas location needs help with it's staff...
