Thumbprint Gallery is located in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego, CA and was established to offer a space for local emerging and established artists to showcase their work. We allow artists to exhibit in our monthly solo shows as well as our regular theme group art shows, some of which segue into our monthly open mic event called Stanza.

the artists featured at this gallery all gave great talent and have been doing art for many years. a lot have unique styles that took years to develop. its not a bunch of fakes

Exciting new space for the most underrepresented out of the mainstream artists. The work everyone will wish they had started collecting by mid century in an environment reminesent of the early, exciting days of Soho in NYC.

Small intimate, and if you don't support the youth, the movement, or the struggling artist, you are not truly understanding where real art comes from. Not that art needs to come from impoverished reasons, but it surely needs a voice in every community. Thumbprint provides that outlet, and with such flair. Every opening they put on contains a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere.

Small, hip with some great looking art. They are new, but really getting active in the community across the artistic spectrum, from visual art to writing. So much potential!

Thumbprint is a new gallery featuring known and emerging artist throughout Southern California. The art tends to be offbeat and cutting edge. They have a series of themed shows throughout the summer, were several very different artists show visual statements all on a certain topic which leads to a whole even greater than the parts, so the gallery does not just show art but in a way arranged art to create art.
