Located in Seaport Village, on beautiful San Diego Bay, Upstart Crow Bookstore and Coffeehouse has been in business for almost twenty years. We are next to the San Diego Convention Center and just a few blocks from downtown. We get visitors and business travelers from across the country and around the world.
Our shop is filled with hundreds of interesting and unusual gifts, wonderful books, and of course, the fine aroma of freshly-brewed coffee.

Love this place! I come almost every Saturday night to listen to their live music, read a magazine, sip tasty coffee drinks & desserts and buy goodies. A unique and relaxing bookstore. It's the kind of place I would dream about owning when i was younger. Now that Border's is gone, these smaller, independent stores should get all the business. I hope they stay open forever.
