A great establishment that brings higher end preparations to our land of border style taco shops, this is a must try location. If you're there on the weekends, plan to grab a few drinks in the lounge after dinner and groove to down tempo beats; its all good at Candelas

Lovely food from the ladies from Iran. Go there when you're not in a hurry and sit outside. The Tuesday special of the day is amazing!!

One of San Diego's best restaurants, I'm at a loss how it ends up in a category with Antique Row Cafe. In spite of this strangeness, head on up there for a marvelous experience that for a moment, makes you think you're in San Francisco...

There is no where else in SD you can have the best sausage biscuits and gravy, & tofu rancheros in the same place served by a woman who really does care about you and her community. Go there three times and you'll be a regular for life.

Sushi Ota and Sushi Bar Kazumi are the best places for authentic sushi in this city. If you want rolls with sauce and crunchy pieces, you had best go somewhere else.

Italian restaurants in SD are cookie cutter establishments for the most part, J&G stands out for their great pasta dishes and lunches specials. Enjoy a local gem in Old Town, you'll be glad you did.

Bronx may own the thin crust category (with honorable mention to the boys down at Basic Pizza), yet no one in this city makes a true Sicilian and this pizza is the closest thing to a pie that can stack up to the pies of NYC and Italy. Go wrap your lips around the "Meatda" (add onions and garlic if you like spice) and it will change your pizza mindset. Keep in mind Paul was one of the Bronx originals so the thin pie they make would stack up in any blind taste test. Best part, his pies are always cooked and have on them what you ordered. Bronx regulars should know what I'm saying...

If you've tried them all, you know this is the best all around shop in SD. Honorable mention to Rocky's, The Burger Lounge, and Crazy Burger. The fact that a fast food burger can get into this competition testifies to how good In & Out is; however you can't fairly compare a 1/2 lb medium rare burger to the 3x3 Animal Style. 10 News should make a fast food catagory next time around.
