Van is not only a super talented photographer but also a great people person! My destination wedding in San Diego would not have been successful with him! He got beautiful shots and even took photos of our engagement session the night of the rehearsal since were unable to make a separate trip to California before the wedding. My husband and family would recommend Van to anyone for their wedding-he is very artistic but captures photos that are real and makes true memories!

Melissa had to plan my destination wedding and so everything was done via phone, e-mail and mail. She did everything wonderfully and really took into consideration my wants as the bride. The most important detail is that through the 3 days we were there Melissa remained calm and so as the bride I did as well! She is a very creative person and even did all of my flowers on a very tight budget-but no one would have known-the bouquets and table settings were so beautiful! Melissa is a nice, down-to-earth person and very knowledgeable about other vendors in the area-most important for a bride planning a wedding in San Diego from Houston, Texas!

Azul is a great place to have tapas and cocktails by the fireplace or a meal. I am from Texas but have been here 4 times and never been disappointed! My Maid of Honor had a bridal shower here for me and they made specialty tapas, drinks and gave us wonderful service. The views and ambiance are also great and relaxing!

VanJohnson is the best photographer from not only a talent perspective but a fun personality! He was able to get the most beautiful photos of our wedding and everyone at the wedding loved his jokes and the way he made them feel relaxed! He even did our engangement session the night of the rehearsal because we live in Houston, Texas and couldn't make a separate trip to La Jolla to take photos in clothes other than our wedding day! Van is a really great guy and photographer!

The band was great for our destination wedding in La Jolla October 20, 2006. Due to the several different styles and talents they have we were able to have steel drums for the ceremony and band with signing our favorite songs for our reception. The owner of the band is great and he also got the crowd involved and on the dance floor!
