Jasmine is definitely my favorite place to get dim sum in SD (and in my mind the only place I would ever go). They have an awesome number of tasty dumplings, buns, lao mai geh, turnip cake, Chinese doughnuts, shu-mai, and anything else you could ever want! My favorite are the beef rice noodles and custard pastries. I've heard some of the more exotic dishes like chicken feet are great, but I've never tried those.
The absolute best part is they serve pearl tea in the restaurant! Which means you don't have to drive a few blocks, look for parking again, wait in line and all that jazz for your boba fix. yummy!
It's best to go early, before the crowd hits because this place can get packed pretty quickly. Parking can be a bit hard for SD standards, but its definitely worth the wait.
