Zagarella Italian Restaurant is located in the heart of Little Italy, near downtown. Our atmosphere inside and out will make you feel like you are no longer in San Diego, but instead in beautiful Italy. We are a family owned restaurant that has served the greater San Diego area since 1993. We offer a gorgeous atmosphere and fast, friendly service. We are centrally located between the convention center and the airport. We can accommodate private parties up to 80 people.

I have enjoyed this resturant over and over. I feel like family when I walk in. My mother says the back patio seating reminds her of her Itialian Grandmother's back yard. Every dish I have had reminds me of a home cooked meal my grandmother had made just for me. The bartender Nick is always welcoming and always remebers your name and your order. If you want a REAL Itailian meal that will satisfy all your 5 senses eat at Zagarella's. Everyone I have brought into this resturant has been back and brought their friends and family. In my opinion the best recipes on India St. REAL HOMEMADE, REAL ITAILIAN FOOD.

I come back to this restaurant over and over again. They have amazing dishes and a great wine selection, all in a relaxed atmosphere. When I lived in Little Italy, I'd order takeout from them when I was too lazy to make my own meat sauce.
